There is a popular saying amongst Auto Enthusiasts :- `There is no replacement for displacement'
Displacement here means the engine capacity:- 600cc, 1000cc, 2000cc, etc
What they mean is if you have a 2000cc engine your way better off in terms of power than someone with lets say 750cc.
Lets equate the CC of the engine with life experience here.
So if you have 20 years of life experience, you probably smarter than someone with only 12.
Probably when you apply for a job, thats why the first thing they want to know is how much work experience you have.
Therefore by this analogy, someone with 10years work experience is probably better at his job than someone with only two.
But theres another factor thats a part of the picture, its state of tune. ie- how high a state of tune your engine or mind is.
For example - some 600cc engines produce more power than 1500cc engines because they are in a higher state of tune.

And some people in a `high state of tune' learn the same thing in 3years as opposed to someone else in a `low state of tune' who`d learn the same in 10.
But theres a downside here, engines in a high state of tune, wear out much faster. Or in simpler words, their engine life is much lower as compared to engines in a low state of tune.
Could this be why so many brilliant minds have left this plane at such a young age?
Genius dies young?
