STORY OF THIS BLOG

After years of having radical thoughts swimming around in my head, i finally decided to pen them down.

This is a collection of ramblings, thoughts, ideas, visions of a better world, poetry and song that have chanced their way through my head.

I hope you can derive some value and insight from them.

Feel free to share similar thoughts and ideas via links to your own blogs and homepages.

I'd be grateful for any interesting material coming my way.

Sexuality and The Indian Censor Board

Firstly what the fuck does this term even mean.

In a country with a population of 1.3billion and people having unprotected sex left right and center (Pun intended) and producing 5 or more children this is ridiculous!

Bollywood Movies launched with even as much as a hint of sexuality and the masses go crazy to watch it and the kissing scenes/ suggested sexuality become the USP.

Something definitely sounds wrong and creepy and depraved about all this.

And theres a reason for all this creepiness that i want to point out.

Recently a Bengali film called `Gandu` was produced which made waves internationally and won awards in New York, etc

But thanks to the hypocritical mother fuckers at the Indian Censor Board the film is struggling to be approved for launch in theatres or DVD.

As a result, this rare gem of indian alternative cinema will never reach its audience, nor make any money and in all likelyhood the talented director will be forced to eschew his art and become a banker so he can feed his family.

I want to ask these hypocrites at the censor board, if someone is old enough to have sex (18+) what stops you from letting him watch sexual content in a movie in the privacy of his own home on DVD?

The fact that the Kama Sutra was an important part of Indian literature seems to have been forgotten.

So basically because of all this hypocrisy in Indian society, what has happened is sex has been made out to be a taboo, a scarce commodity that is not to be seen, heard or talked about.

Which explains why an absurdly large number of hits on pornographic sites are coming from India.

Because a large number of Indian sexually supressed youth have nowhere else to vent their sexual energies.

This suppression leads to all the leching, raping, molesting, wife beating and related debauchery that India is known for.

Time to get your heads out of your asses people!
